The Corno del Renon is a mountain 2261 meters above sea level which is part of the Eastern Rhaetian Alps (Alpi Sarentine). It is located in the province of Bolzano and its name in German is Rittner Horn.
Not without reason it is defined by many as the most beautiful panoramic point in the Alps with a view that ranges from the Ortles glaciers in the west to the Dolomites in the east, from the Zillertal Alps in the north to the Adamello in the south.
The Corno del Renon can be reached with a cable car that leaves from Pemmern up to the top of Lago Nero or via a path immersed in the woods, particularly suitable for families with children and the elderly as it is not very demanding and takes an hour's walk reaches the top.
