La Marmolada Ski Areawhere they reign supreme the perennial snows of the Marmolada glacier, boasts perfectly groomed slopes and modern ski lifts . There are many thematic itineraries for those who love alpine skiing, among these to be mentioned "THE TOUR OF THE MARMOLADA” ideal for those who want to dedicate a whole day to the Queen of the Dolomites, whose peak can be reached from Malga Ciapela or Arabba, through Porta Vescovo, the Ornella slope, the Padon and Fedaia Passes up to Punta Rocca, the highest point in the Dolomites Superski. From here, a few meters below the top of the glacier, a scene of incomparable beauty opens up before the eyes of skiers, which only the Queen of the Dolomites can offer. Spectacular the longest slope in the Dolomites (12 kilometres), the Belluno area, which from Punta Rocca leads to Malga Ciapela, descending along the slope of the Marmolada glacier, where once the troops of the Austrian Kaiserjäger and the Italian Alpini faced each other.
Or "the TOUR OF THE FOUR STEPS“ also known as “Sella Ronda”, is one of the most famous tours in the Dolomites. The ski itinerary that surrounds the Sella massif offers scenarios of incomparable beauty and is suitable for skiers of all levels. Arabba and Malga Ciapela are ideal starting points. The itinerary winds along slopes of varying difficulty, which connect with the ski areas of the neighboring valleys, for a total of 40 kilometers immersed in a splendid setting of woods and some of the best known mountains in the entire Dolomite range.
