Folgaria ski resorts

Folgaria offers skiers a skiable domain of 100 kilometers of slopes with 8 different ski areas all connected with skis on. The possibility of being able to ski on skis throughout the area is a result achieved following a major renewal of the ski resorts and the expansion to new neighboring territories. Among all, the total renovation of Passo Coe stands out (ski area at 1600m) left for years in a state of semi-abandonment and recently redeveloped with new four-seat gondola lifts with automatic coupling and new ski slopes capable of acting as a bridge with the Florentine ski resort (in the territory Veneto).

Il connection with the Venetian station via Val delle Lanze and Monte Pioverna has allowed Folgaria not only to expand the skiable domain but also to offer slopes and skiable areas at higher altitudes (up to 2000m) where the snow resists in good conditions throughout the winter season.

In addition to Passo Coe and Fiorentini, the Costa di Folgaria ski area was also redeveloped with a new four-seater chairlift and 2 new slopes connected with Ortesino and Fondo Grande.
The revitalization of the area has brought with it not only new chairlifts and new slopes but also an advanced artificial snow system capable of completely covering the slopes in the Trentino area, thus offering excellent snow conditions even in the most difficult winters.

The Folgaria area offers a very heterogeneous ski offer. They are present throughout the area ski schools and school camps to help children take their first steps on the snow. The sweet territory of Costa di Folgaria is ideal for getting familiar with skiing and snowboarding, in fact there are many families who choose this area for their winter holidays. In addition to the gentle slopes of Costa, you can try the Salizzona slope and the Martinella slope, a red loved above all by those who ski competitively and a very fun black one.

Cross country skiing

But in addition to downhill skiing, Folgaria can also offer fun on the slopes cross-country trails of Passo Coe and Fiorentini. Located respectively at 1600m and 1400m these 2 plateaus offer different rings which extend between the mountain pastures and the woods. Here tranquility reigns supreme and between a break to photograph the huts and the sight of a roe deer running in the woods, the skis go fast along the lines of the track.
At the entrance to the slopes you will find several ski rental points and refuges where you can rest after a long day of excursions.

Excursions with snowshoes

As for cross-country skiing, in Folgaria there is also room for snowshoes and excursions with snowshoes. The paths to follow are different and each one offers particular panoramas. For example, you can choose to visit the biotope of Ecken (the remains of an ancient glacial lake) or follow the traces of the great war with a visit to the military forts of the Austrian army.
