The sunny Merano 2000 ski area invites you to escape the city by cable car, which whisks you up into the mountains to the splendid "terrace of Merano" in just seven minutes. Award-winning architecture and sustainable mobility combine in one of the most modern ski lifts in the Alps.
Once in the ski area of Merano 2000, the view extends far over the mountains to the Ortles and the Dolomites, UNESCO World Natural Heritage. The 40 km of slopes on the sunny plateau at an altitude of 2000 meters invite skiers and snowboarders to try their hand at breathtaking descents. The nine ski slopes, of varying degrees of difficulty, will be able to satisfy every need, thrilling both expert skiers and families with children. At Kinderland, theplay area for children, the little ones will be able to face their first experiences on skis with the "magic carpets" of the snow kindergarten and with the help of the numerous instructors ... all under the watchful eye of their parents, who in the meantime will be able to enjoy an aperitif on the terrace of the Panorama Bistro.

The NEW MERANO 2000 SNOWPARK, with its numerous kickers, rails, tubes, and boxes, will delight snowboarders and freestylers of all skill levels. The park is divided into two sections. In the upper section, beginners can practice and improve their skills. The lower section features an Easy and Medium Line on 6 tables for unleashing breathtaking jumps and tricks.
Exciting snowshoe and ski touring trails lead through enchanting winter landscapes around Merano 2000. Numerous hiking trails with breathtaking views lead from Falzeben and Piffing to the innermost part of the ski area, where nature is still close at hand. Romantic carriage rides pulled by Haflinger horses take you from Avelengo and Verano through the snow-covered forests. For a touch of thrill, there's the Alpin Bob , a 1,1 km-long toboggan run on rails, or the natural toboggan run.
Quiet, sunny spots and cozy mountain huts invite you to linger and indulge in culinary delights. Typical South Tyrolean dishes combined with Alpine-Mediterranean specialties will tantalize your taste buds. The proximity of the Merano 2000 ski area to the spa town makes it easy to stroll through the narrow streets of the historic center after hitting the slopes, or to relax at the Merano Thermal Baths. The "Thermal Baths & Ski" ticket combines four hours of skiing at Merano 2000 with three hours at the spa town's thermal baths.
