Prali is a locality located 75 km from Turin, it is a ski resort in the region Piedmont, the environment and the landscape are typical of alpine villages.
With 2 two-seater chairlifts, two ski lifts (one of which is equipped with a ski school), two national ski schools, 1 cross-country ski trail about 15 km long and 1 skating rink, they give rise to a ski area characterized by slopes of all levels of difficulty , largely in the woods and with high quality snow throughout the season guaranteed by the artificial snow system.
Its best slope is home to some training sessions for the national alpine ski team, while its cross-country trails are FISI approved.
For beginners it is possible to practice on the pitch near the town. Today Prali is the winter resort for the whole family, where relaxing walks can be alternated with fun skiing downhill, discovering the flora and fauna of an uncontaminated environment.
In recent winters, Prali has become a key starting point for the ski season throughout the Italian Alps. Its exposure and altitude of 2500 meters allow it to welcome the first winter weather fronts from the west, which bring fresh snow as early as November . Snowfalls allow the partial opening of the ski area, thanks to the slopes between Pian dell'Alpet and the 13 lakes.
Prali also offers opportunities for dog sledding, hiking, snowshoeing, figure skating, and ice climbing. The mountains in this area are also a popular destination for off-piste enthusiasts; freeriders find abundant fresh snow here throughout the season. However, some trails are at risk of avalanches, so extreme caution is advised.
