The ski resort of Snowy Meadow, a wonderful village in the Maritime Alps at an altitude of 1500 metres, is an integral part of the Mondolè area which, together with Artesina and Frabosa, is spread over 130 km of slopes and makes use of 31 lifts.
The Prato Nevoso station is able to satisfy every level of skier, from expert to beginner, and above all the target of children thanks to the particular amphitheater shape that the Conca of the town assumes and its southern exposure.
Inside the ski resort of Prato Nevoso lo Snowpark represents the flagship of the freestyle area for both ski and snowboard lovers. The snow park, fully lit and usable even at night, is made up of structures suitable for all riding levels with Boxes, Rails, Jumps, Half Pipe and Boarder Cross track.
Also for ski and snowboard night owls, Prato Nevoso allows its guests to ski under the stars every Tuesday, Thursday (new season 2009 – 2010), Friday and Saturday from 20pm to 23pm, thanks to the lighting of the slopes 1 and 2, of the school camp and the Snowpark area.
Prato Nevoso also offers entertainment opportunities for the little ones too, thanks to Pratolandia, the snow playground for children located inside the Conca and Mondolotto, its irreplaceable mascot who dances, skis and plays with all its little guests. Pratolandia is spread over an area of over 10.000 square meters where, inside it, under the careful guidance of qualified educators and entertainers, it is possible to carry out educational, sporting and recreational activities. Inside Pratolandia there is a "magic" treadmill for the ascent with a passage tunnel, an equipped play area, colored play houses, inflatable structures, a stage for performances, a covered station and slopes for skis, bobsleds, sledges and the special slope for the ski school.
