Tarvisio is an Italian municipality located in the easternmost part of the Friuli Venezia Giulia. The Tarvisio-Monte Lussari ski area is characterized by twenty-five kilometres: these are lifts (eleven in all) and rather modern slopes which allow experts to use perfect tracks. Despite this, however, each track is characterized by different levels of difficulty and can therefore be tackled by anyone. The area is also located at an altitude between 754 and 1752 meters.
The opening of the slopes in Tarvisio in the winter period starts from the beginning of December until the end of March. One of the most particular experiences that can be had in Tarvisio is undoubtedly the Ski by night which offers the possibility of being able to ski at night twice a week. Another peculiarity of the place is the presence of an amusement area suitable for both adults but above all for children. Here it is possible to entertain oneself with games on the snow, sledges, rafts and inflatables.
The area is located on the Angelo plain between Tarvisio and Camporosso and is suitable for children aged between three and fifteen. Snowboard lovers can instead have fun in the Snow Park area of the Duca d'Aosta fields. Here enthusiasts can enjoy the outdoors and give vent to their creativity.
