This video shot on 24 October 2008 shows the artificial snow system in action in Zoldo Alto, a ski resort in the Civetta Ski area. The temperature is -3 degrees and the snow cannons churn out snow in large quantities waiting for the slopes to open.
The bottom is made of natural snow that fell a few days earlier.
