The Resia Pass was already part of the most important Alpine passes since the Middle Ages, even now there are many testimonies of the past. The Resia Pass area has developed into a modern and varied holiday destination in the Alps region.
Thus hospitality has developed naturally over the centuries around the villages of Curon, Resia, S. Valentino and Vallelunga where today a modern and varied tourist region extends.
Cross country skiing
> from Resia to Curon – passing the symbol of the Municipality of Curon – the bell tower in the lake, up to San. Valentino (only if the snow is excellent)
> from Resia to the border and from there to Nauders or on the meadow circuit back to Resia
> in Vallelunga up to 2000 m, it is an area full of charm and the most interesting around the Resia Pass:
a wonderful winter panorama under the Palla Bianca glacier and also a romantic malga to have a snack and rest before returning to Melago
> S.Valentino: the cross-country track of approx. 12 km that crosses the snowy larch forest passes the village of Monteplair and continues on the meadows with a breathtaking panorama overlooking the Ortles.
> Horse-drawn sleigh ride
In the romantic Vallelunga (1.600-1.900 m) there is the possibility of taking a sleigh ride. The horses take you to the Melago alpine pasture where you can take a break or from where you return to the starting point at the parking lot in Melago.
> From San Valentino you can take a carriage ride and enjoy the wonderful landscape.

Toboggans
The illuminated toboggan runs in Resia and San Valentino invite you to take a descent after a day of skiing.

Snowboarding and Freeride Skiing
Suitable slopes are also found for competitive skiing enthusiasts: in Val Roia you can find tranquility to enjoy the classic descents, and to enjoy a quiet day off the beaten track. Vallelunga also offers excellent descents and the local mountain guide, Mr. Plangger Josef, accompanies you on the off-piste tour.

Ice sailing
As soon as the lakes in the Resia Pass area are frozen (since early December) the sportsmen and women who practice ice sailing arrive with their gear and populate the surface of the two frozen lakes.
The time that passes from the ice cover to the first snow (which covers the entire surface) is short, which is why sportsmen hurry up to enjoy their sport.

SnowKite
Anyone who wants and enjoys getting to know snowkiting is invited to come to Passo Resia.
The suedtirol Kiteschule introduces you to this new sport that is practiced on skis or snowboard and paragliding on Lake Resia or on Lake San Valentino.
Skating
For skaters there are skating rinks and rings on the lakes where the sport can be practiced.
