Seefeld is an Austrian municipality with approximately 3.400 inhabitants, located in the Innsbruck-Land district, in the Tyrol region. It develops at 1.180 meters above sea level in a perfect context for athletes, families and mountain lovers in general.

Seefeld ski resort
The Rosshutte – Seefeld ski area offers enthusiasts a total of 19,1 km of slopes which extend between a maximum altitude of 2.064 meters and a minimum of 1.230 meters above sea level. Of these 19,1 km of slopes, 12,2 km are considered easy and therefore suitable for everyone, 6 km are of medium difficulty and 1,9 km are difficult and therefore require significant experience and technical skills.
Furthermore, 7 km of off-piste routes are signposted. The ski area remains open from the first days of December until April, every day from 9:00 am to 16:30 pm. It is located approximately 1,3 km away from the center of Seefeld. The descent is longer, 4,7 km long with a difference in altitude of 834 metres. The presence of one should be noted snowpark to be taken into consideration by all snowboard enthusiasts and to be able to practice night skiing thanks to the latest generation lighting systems.

The artificial snow system has 208 cannons and can manage 100% of the slopes. There are other facilities such as the children's area, the ski school for those who want to learn and improve their technique and the possibility of renting equipment to practice each discipline.
What to do for those who don't ski
Seefeld is a welcoming destination that allows you to practice skiing and snowboarding by providing a well-organised and managed area. The experience can be further enriched with many opportunities for non-skiers and others.
First of all, winter excursions with snowshoes and snowshoes are organised. There are various routes to cover such as the Brunschkopf tour which involves the departure from Seefeld-Kirchwald for a journey of a total of 10 km and an uphill difference in altitude of 350 metres. It starts from 1.080 meters above sea level and usually covers the entire route in 2 hours 30 minutes.
It is an easy tour so it is also suitable for those who do not have significant athletic training. Alternatively, there is the second route which starts from Gschwandt, Landhaus Seerose for a length of 5 km and a difference in altitude of 310 m. They are still approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes long but the difficulty is intermediate.

It is a structure that has a total of 630 square meters of water area between various swimming pools, with various slides and pools for fun. Furthermore, it has 6 saunas, hydromassage beds and an area designed for the needs of children. The saunas can be managed with temperatures ranging between a minimum of 50° and a maximum of 100°.
The structure also offers special solutions with the children's pool, the wellness area, the 25 meter long swimming pools with water heated to 30 degrees and the restaurant area to savor some delicacies. Outside there is an outdoor swimming pool with water heated to 32 degrees to restore your body and enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains.
At the Panoramarestaurant Rosshutte, at around 1750 meters above sea level, a fascinating and interesting exhibition dedicated to the nostalgic Winter Olympics which were held in Innsbruck and Seefeld was organised. It is possible to appreciate numerous memorabilia and sports equipment that refer to a time window ranging from 1864 to 1976.
